FoMaKo 4K HDMI AI Auto-Tracking 20X Optical Zoom PTZ Camera

This is a very good quality camera system that is ideal for streaming events, podcasts etc. The 20x optical zoom is impressive and you can connect, power and control the camera through ethernet (assuming your ethernet can support PoE). The included remote control allows you to move and zoom but it would be best to use the optional accessory that allows PTZ control for smooth panning and zooming. You can output video via usb, ethernet and HDMI so there are plenty of options and the base unit has a 1/4" thread that can be used to mount the camera on a tripod. This is a cost effective option for streaming and so far Im extremely impressed.

I wasn't sure what to expect but it's just as I hoped it would be. I have it mounted about 30ft away and after zooming in, the image is still crisp. Setup was easy. It arrived ahead of schedule as well. No complaints so far. I'll definitely be ordering another.

i got this to use in our church for our livestream. It was a wonderful update to our quality, and the ability for it to auto follow the speaker is an amazing feature.

I replaced the camera in our conference room at the office with this and it made conference calls so much easier. We have a really long conference room and I was able to set it up on the far end and the zoom really does zoom in nicely with the AI auto tracking making it so that you can walk around the room while you're talking and it will just follow you.

I've got a couple of $1500 PTZOptics cameras to use for church, but wanted a third camera position. This camera came across my screen and I jumped on it. I'm quite impressed for the price. The auto-tracking tracks very well, and I honestly didn't expect it to perform well, given that this is a much less expensive camera than the others that I have, and I really don't see any difference in how it performs compared to the more expensive ones. One main difference that I see is that this one doesn't have SDI output, while the others do, but since this camera is positioned right near my ATEM, that's not a problem at all. Works great. Oh, and it even comes with mounting brackets for either surface or wall mounting. You don't have to pay extra for brackets, as you do with many other PTZ options.

If you want a good camera that acts like a personal cameraman, this a great option. The image quality is great and the AI follow function works pretty well. The zoom is also very handy and if you place the camera far away and zoom in you can get a nice cinematic look. This is definitely a great tool to have if you make videos and want the camer to follow you, buy don't have a reliable cameraman.

Working with my system the unit doesn't add easily. I believe that is more the equipment I already have then the unit itself. I have it up and running and not having any issues with this since working out the bugs. It didn't take long to setup, but longer then other units that I have installed in the past. Not a deal breaker for me as it is just a newer product that I'm not use to.

This is a top-notch pan-tilt-zoom camera that can be used for many different purposes and places. The PTZ function works perfect as the built in AI functionality makes tracking subjects a breeze. It looks so professional when you watch the videos. 20x optical zoom is plenty and impressive when needed. Installation of the camera is simple yet it takes a while to figure out how to use it. You can pre-program the camera for special events but I haven’t tried it. Overall, an impressive PTZ camera.

This camera is great for a conference room or, well, for anything really. We used it as a Musical Director remote camera for a show we just did. Hooked up the included power adapter and put it on a wireless HDMI transmitter. It did great, even at a fairly low light and different color lights and flashing. The 20X zoom really made it easy to put the focus where we needed it. The actors didn't have a problem seeing them and knowing when to start. The remote worked perfectly and could easily zoom in and out and PTZ no problem. The image was clear and would re-focus pretty quick, even in the low light. If we need some more PTZ cameras for our conference rooms, we'll definitely be looking at these again.

We’ve installed these cameras before and have been happy with their quality. When used with the FoMako controller , you can dial in the brightness, and contrast, helping for low light situations.
