A very substantial rack made from some type of thick plastic !!

If you love cassettes, this is the wall rack for you. This thing is BEEFY. At first I thought it was cut from a single piece of acrylic, but it is just extremely well-assembled. Looks to be 1/4” acrylic for the outside frame and 1/8” acrylic for the interior slots and back. There is absolutely zero “sag” in the slots like on the wooden or wood-composite racks. The only change I would make would be to chamfer the edges of the wall-mounting holes a bit so that mounting screws sit flush to the acrylic. Outside of that, this thing checks all the boxes.

This is a beautiful storage solution for your prized cassettes! The smoky gray acrylic is the one I went for, and I'm so glad I did! It is finished beautifully, and it just looks great on my wall. I was surprised by the quality and ruggedness of this product. I've used many other storage solutions for cassettes over the years, and they were mostly all cheaply made. Not this puppy! It is solid, sturdy and the fit and finish is excellent. The only knock I would give it is the drywall anchors that come with the unit are not the best, as the unit is hefty, even when empty of cassettes. I recommend that you attach one side to a wall stud with wood screws, and then use the anchors for the other side if necessary. Great product. I will definitely buy more of these!
